About

IMG_8820.JPG

In an age of mass production, I’m passionate about personal, considered craftsmanship.

Every piece is handcrafted in our garden studio on the Central Coast of NSW, using mostly recycled metals, ethically sourced stones, and traditional techniques. Quality and the human touch are at the heart of everything I do, because at a deep cellular level we need to see evidence of our fellow beings - especially now with the increasing digitalisation of our world.

I regularly reuse gold and gemstones from family jewellery to create new pieces that reinvigorate those exquisite and long lasting materials into something that can be cherished in the present day by their wearer. I love to feel the energy of your loved ones in their gemstones and gold and honour them in remaking those materials into something new for their family members to cherish.

Above all, my goal is to create quality jewellery that feels like an extension of you—pieces that are effortless, personal, fun and deeply connected to your story.

The story of EWJ

Almost 9 years ago, I decided to take a break from acting (that's a whole story unto itself!) The unpredictable schedule and lack of creative control were starting to drive me insane. A short evening course on the basics of jewellery, and I was totally hooked. Thankfully I inherited a small amount of tools and my lovely dad built me a basic bench (the one I still make everything on) from a discarded tv cabinet on the side of the road.
I started posting my experiments on my personal instagram page and when people I didn't know asked me to buy them, I figured why not? After obsessively learning and slowly accumulating tools and skills, I am so proud of where EWJ has ended up, and I am so incredibly excited for what is ahead.
