Hello, I'm Liz
I'm a jeweller working from my garden studio on the Central Coast of NSW. In an age of mass production, I'm all about personal, considered craftsmanship. Every piece is designed by me and finished by my hands, using mostly recycled metals, ethically sourced stones and whichever technique suits it best, from traditional hand fabrication to CAD.
My goal is simple: jewellery that feels like an extension of you. Effortless, personal, fun and deeply connected to your story.

The story of EWJ
It all started at a roadside bench
Almost nine years ago I took a break from acting (a whole story in itself!). The unpredictable schedule and lack of creative control were driving me mad, so I did a short evening course in the basics of jewellery and was totally hooked.
I inherited a few tools, and my lovely dad built me a bench from a TV cabinet he found on the side of the road. I still work at it today. When strangers started asking to buy the experiments I posted on Instagram, I figured, why not?

Quality and the human touch are at the heart of everything I make, because jewellery carries memories and identity like almost nothing else we wear.
- Heirlooms, reimaginedI often remake gold and gemstones from family jewellery into something new. I love feeling the energy of your loved ones in those materials, and honouring them in a piece your family can wear every day.
- Every method on the tableHand fabrication, wax carving, sand casting and CAD. I choose whichever suits the piece best, so the design is never limited by one technique.
- Solid metals, mostlyEWJ began with gold vermeil and I loved the creativity of those early years. These days almost everything I make is solid gold, silver or platinum, made to last a lifetime, or even two. I sell a small amount of gold vermeil, in earrings only at present.
- Kind materialsMostly recycled metals and ethically sourced stones, chosen with care for every piece.
- The human touchIn a world that keeps getting more digital, I think we need to see the evidence of each other's hands. Every piece carries mine.
